This level is for people who like to have everything well organized for them and who can allow more time for walking through the countryside, enjoying the beauty of nature. For Visa & Permit requirements: one needs at least 2 weekdays, for the Nepalese permit and 1day for the Chinese visa. Therefore one has to allow for 3 weekdays in Kathmandu before the journey can start,
Preparation for the trek: the long walks demand a good physical condition and endurance since the trip is quite challenging.
Day 1. KTM - Nepalganj by flight
Day 2. Nepalganj - Simmikot by flight, trek for 4-5 hours
Day 3 - 7 Trek up to Hilsa and camp acclimatization
Day 8 Purang - Thirtahpuri
Day 9 To Lake Manasarovar
Day 10 Rest day Manasarovar to Darchen / Mt. Kailash
Day 11. Start Kora to Drirapuk North face
Day 12 Rest Day
Day 13 Over Drolmala to Zultrupuk
Day 14 Back to Darchen and onwards to Hor Chu
Day 15 Paryang
Day 16 Saga
Day 17 Nyalam
Day 18 Kodari / KTM
Included: In Nepal: Transfer to KTM airport; flight, KTM - Nepalganj; transfer to the hotel; all over night stays and food; flight Nepalganj - Simikot; trekking permits; state taxes; sherpa guides, insurances and DD fee in Simikot.
In Tibet: border permit for Tibet and pickup in Hilsa, drive to Mt. Kailash and onwards to Nepal border; Land cruiser & support truck ( according to itinerary ); all permits and road tolls; Tibetan guide; driver; Nepalese sherpa guide and cook; 2 x vegetarian meals daily (breakfast and dinner) and picnic lunch all the way to and around Mt. Kailash and up to the Nepalese border; all fees for sightseeing/ the Kailash circuit/ yak or mules for the luggage; all overnight stays in simple pilgrim guest houses or tents.
Excluded: Your stay in Kathmandu, visa for Tibet; cost of visa split from the group visa; re-entry visa for Nepal, horse and horse attendant for personal rides, alcohol and soft drinks when eating in restaurants; airport tax.
