Budget Simikot Trip

This level is for people who like to travel as self sufficiently and independently as possible. Therefore they have the appropriate light weight high tech gear (tent, cooker etc.). On ths trip they will be accompanied by a sherpa guide only. Normally one can manage with 15kgs luggage you can carry it yourself or if you find that difficult, porters can be hired to carry luggage. However one has to be top fit for this trekking.
Preparation: one needs at least 2 weekdays for the Nepalese permit and 1day for the Chinese visa before the trip can start Therefore one has to plan a total 3 days in Kathmandu before departure.
When booking you will get a PDF file with a detailed description of places for food, water and rest, as well as exact walking times, distances etc to help you tune into the trip.

Day 1. KTM- Nepalganj by flight
Day 2. Nepalganj - Simikot by flight, trek 4-5 hours
Day 3 - 7. Trek up to Hilsa and camp acclimatization
Day 8. Purang - Tirthpuri
Day 9. To lake Manasarovar
Day 10. Rest day Manasarovar to Darchen / Mt. Kailash
Day 11. Start kora Drirapuk north face
Day 12. Rest day
Day 13. Over Drolma la to Zultrupuk
Day 14. Back to Darchen and onwards to Hor Chu
Day 15. Paryang
Day 16. Saga
Day 17. Nyalam
Day 18. Kodari / KTM
